How Is The Course Delivered

Module Description
This unit is designed to develop the learner’s knowledge and understanding of the issues underpinning knowledge-based systems.  It will focus on knowledge acquisition, knowledge representation and the application of large bodies of knowledge to the particular problem domain in which the knowledge based system operates.

Skills & Qualifications
This module will support anyone who is interested in handling and using data in an engineering context.  The module is common to many engineering awards and offers 15 credits at Level 5 HND Engineering.

Who is it for?
This course is ideal for Mechanical Engineers or Electrical and Electronic Engineers who wish to progress to a HND in either subject.

How will it be delivered?
Twilight classroom based sessions with some online learning.
