Entry Requirements

At least one A Level together with a grade C GCSE in English and Mathematics or BTEC National Certificate / BTEC National Diploma in Computing or related discipline.

Mature students will be considered in light of relevant work and life experience.

For non-EU students an IELTS 6 is required or equivalent University of Wolverhampton qualification.

How Is The Course Delivered

The course is delivered through a mixture of IT focused sessions, use of Virtual Learning Environments, online support, as well as the completion of IT related projects for local companies.

Specialist IT companies will support the delivery by providing guest speakers to give presentations on new technologies to students.

How Will I Be Assessed

Coursework and assignments are assessed throughout the year. There is no examination.

What Can I Do After The Course

The HNC/D in Computing is a nationally recognised qualification designed to help you to move up to management roles and responsibilities within the computing industry. You can also use it to progress on to a full BSc (Hons) Degree in computing related disciplines.
