Entry Requirements

At least two A Levels preferably in Mathematics and / or Science or BTEC National Certificate / BTEC National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Other craft Level 3 students will be considered with additional mathematical qualifications to the necessary standard.

Mature students will be considered in light of relevant work and life experience.

For non-EU students an IELTS 6 is required or equivalent University of Wolverhampton qualification.

How Is The Course Delivered

The course will be delivered over one day a week over two years or two nights a week over two years.

Units will be broken down into semesters with two units in semester one and two units in semester two for both years.

Analytical Methods for Engineers
Engineering Science
Project Design, Implementation & Evaluation
Mechanical Principles
Materials Engineering
Dynamics of Machines
Business Management Techniques for Engineers
Computer Aided Machining

How Will I Be Assessed

Coursework assignments are assessed throughout the year. There is no examination.

What Can I Do After The Course

The course is designed to meet professional body requirements and will help you move to Engineering roles and responsibilities within the industry.

You may also be able to top up to a HND or full degree in Engineering or related subjects.
